The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) is the independent Regulator and registrar for Scotland’s charities, including community groups, religious charities, schools, universities, grant-giving charities, and major care providers.

In addition to other duties, OSCR maintains a register of charities as defined under Scottish law (The Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005).
