State of the Sector - Giving Chapter
The data presented in this section is taken primarily from NICVA's 2015 Individual Giving Survey. The Survey was conducted between 22 September - 9 October 2015 and involved 1,000 face-to-face interviews with a representative sample of the general public (aged 16+ years) in terms of gender, age, social class and region. Where it is appropriate direct comparisons have been made with NICVA's previous Individual Giving Surveys.
Each year NICVA gathers information on charitable giving from members of the public in Northern Ireland through the Individual Giving Survey. Each Individual Giving Survey includes a standard set of questions, alongside questions that cover topical issues such as legacies and social media giving.
